Christ the Redeemer

Stretched and pierced, hands and feet, lance into your side
Scoffed and jeered crucify! torture 'till you died

Then descending, to the dead, good news is proclaimed
Free at last, oh righteous souls, in His book you're named

And rising in a manner, that mortals may believe
Position and condition, of linens helped achieve

Redemptive work complete, for all of time and space
His left hand or His right side, where will be your place?
