Help of the Lord

At times I may wander, though you give direction
Through silence of prayer, and deepened reflection

My effort so weak, though you give me power
Through love of the cross, your graces will shower

These are my sins, though you show me love
Through virtuous deeds, seek flight with the Dove

Death awaits all, though you offer life
Through charitable works, sail free from the strife
